Lucy Sparrow

Lucy Sparrow, an Instagram sensation, is celebrated for her vibrant, to-scale felt and wool replicas of everyday retail items. Known for both freestanding sculptures and grid-like wall arrangements, her Pop art-inspired works draw from Andy Warhol and Claes Oldenburg.

Sparrow gained acclaim with 'The Cornershop' (2014), a felt recreation of a convenience store featuring nearly 400 pieces, and '8 ’Til Late' (2017), a bodega installation at New York’s The Standard, High Line hotel, which sold out 9,000 pieces in a week. In 2019, she created 'Lucy’s Delicatessen on 6th', a felt McDonald’s installation in Miami during Art Basel. Her handcrafted creations, made with a team, explore consumerism, convenience, and craft.
