Collection: TBOY | Urban Art & Street Culture

TBOY is a British artist whose technical background sets him apart from most practitioners working in the urban art tradition. Educated at Worthing College of Art and Design with a foundation spanning traditional fine art and 3D design, he deepened his understanding of object-making through a formative apprenticeship in bespoke frame-making and colour finishing — an experience that gave him what he describes as an obsession with detail that has become the defining quality of his practice.

Where many urban artists focus exclusively on the image, TBOY approaches each work as a total object: the medium, the surface treatment, the finish, and the presentation are all considered as part of the same compositional decision. The result is work of unusual material precision — surfaces that carry a physical weight and professional quality that distinguishes them from more casually produced work in the same tradition.

His visual language draws on the streetwear and rare trainer culture he has inhabited for years — a world with its own rigorous aesthetic standards, its own history of limited editions and collectible objects, its own understanding of what makes something genuinely desirable rather than merely available. That sensibility informs everything he makes.

Available through Creed Gallery, Ascot, for collectors across Berkshire, Surrey, and London.
