Collection: Studio Lenca

Studio Lenca is the working name of artist José Campos, who merges traditional Central American art forms with various mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, and video art. Originally from El Salvador and now based in the U.K., the artist is known for his vibrant works with distinctive color palettes. His practice incorporates elements of Indigenous Lenca culture, exploring themes of identity, migration, and social justice.

As Studio Lenca, he has exhibited in his native El Salvador and at galleries in London, Los Angeles, Seoul, Dubai, and New York. His work is included in the collections of the Parrish Art Museum in New York and Pérez Art Museum Miami, among other institutions. He has an MA from Goldsmiths, University of London.
