After Jean-Michel Basquiat (1960–1988) & Andy Warhol (1928–1987) — Fondation Louis Vuitton | Basquiat x Warhol: A Quatre Mains
Basquiat x Warhol: Peindre à Quatre Mains (“painting with four hands”) was a landmark exhibition held at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, Paris, in 2023, bringing together the collaborative works made by Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol between 1984 and 1985. The two artists produced over 160 works together during that period, combining Warhol’s screenprinted commercial imagery with Basquiat’s raw, text-driven paint gestures, in a collaboration that was critically underestimated at the time and has since been recognised as one of the most significant in twentieth-century art.
This exhibition poster, issued unsigned and unnumbered, reproduces the exhibition’s key visual and serves as a document of the 2023 Paris showing. It is offered as a collectible exhibition print rather than as a hand-pulled multiple or original work by either artist.
Available through Creed Gallery, Ascot, for collectors across Berkshire, Surrey, and London.
