CB Hoyo (b. 1995) — Do Whatever The F*** Makes You Happy

CB Hoyo works between Instagram and the studio, treating handwritten language as a visual material in its own right. Self-taught and based in Europe after leaving Havana, he has exhibited in New York, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, London, and Milan.

Here the title is rendered in a loose rainbow of spray-painted letters, each one a different colour and bleeding slightly into the paper beneath it, so the instruction reads as celebration rather than command.
