Helena Jay — Light Between The Trees

Helena Jay is a London-based international artist whose practice explores ecological philosophy, interconnection, and the unseen threads that bind all living things. Rooted in the belief that everything is connected, her work is both a personal and collective inquiry — a way of making sense of the world through stillness, sensitivity, and sustained reflection. Her canvases are layered with hidden symbols and meaning, reflecting a deep interest in semiotics and the unseen language of images, the symbols revealing new meanings on each return to the work.

Her exhibition record spans some of the most significant international platforms available to a contemporary artist, including the Florence Biennale at the Fortezza da Basso, the London Biennale in Chelsea, and the Van Gogh Art Gallery in Madrid. Her work has been featured in British Vogue and House & Garden. Light Between The Trees belongs to her ongoing investigation into light, natural systems, and the points where the visible and invisible world meet.
