Mr Brainwash | Hope is Beautiful (Silkscreen Edition)

Mr Brainwash — Hope is Beautiful (Silkscreen Edition)
Silkscreen edition on paper | 25 × 25 in (framed)

Mr Brainwash — the alias of French-born, Los Angeles-based artist Thierry Guetta — built his reputation on collaging the imagery of twentieth-century pop culture into street-rooted, optimistic compositions, a practice that found a global audience after Banksy's 2010 documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop. Hope is Beautiful continues that visual language: a young girl, set against his signature black-and-white graffiti-wall backdrop, releasing a heart-shaped cluster of colour-saturated balloons skyward.

Originally released as a timed edition alongside its companion piece, Peace is Beautiful, the two works are designed to be read as a single rainbow when hung side by side. The release window closed on 5 July 2026, permanently fixing the edition size — no further examples will ever be produced. A limited number of pieces from that closed edition remain available directly through Creed Gallery. Buyers purchasing the pair are allocated matching edition numbers where possible, though specific numbers cannot be guaranteed depending on remaining stock.

Available through Creed Gallery, Ascot, for collectors across Berkshire, Surrey, and London.
