Pippa Smith — Gluggle & Oysters

Pippa Smith is a London-based painter with an MA in History of Art from the University of Edinburgh and a background in art dealing, whose painting flourished during the 2020 lockdown. Her still lifes use bold, playful colour and focus on food and the kitchen table, designed to evoke the Mediterranean.

Gluggle & Oysters is a signed original acrylic on canvas by Pippa Smith, 60 × 75 cm. A plate of oysters with lemon wedges and a small dish of red caviar sits on a green and white striped cloth, next to a blue fish-shaped jug of deep pink tulips, in front of blue and white tiles.
