Pippa Smith | Audley Original Mini Tiles | Pea Pods

Pippa Smith — Audley Original Mini Tiles: Pea Pods

Pippa Smith is a London-based painter with an MA in History of Art from the University of Edinburgh and a background in art dealing, whose painting flourished during the 2020 lockdown. Her still lifes use bold, playful colour and focus on food and the kitchen table, designed to evoke the Mediterranean.

Pea Pods shows an open pod of plump green peas with leaves and a curling tendril laid across a blue and white tile, with loose peas scattered around it. This is a signed original. Part of the Audley Original Mini Tiles, shown at Creed Gallery's free-entry exhibition at Audley Sunningdale Park, Carriage Drive, Sunningdale, Ascot, on 12th and 13th November 2026 (10.30am to 6.30pm, free entry, register online).
