In the early 1970s, graffiti writers across New York’s five boroughs developed and defended distinct lettering styles; Seen’s contribution — bold, rounded, instantly legible even at speed — became one of its most widely copied templates.

A Tag (Blue) isolates a single letterform from that vocabulary and magnifies it until the brushwork itself becomes the subject.
