The Connor Brothers — American Psycho

The Connor Brothers is the collaborative alias of British artists Mike Snelle and James Golding, who launched the project in 2013. Working from a shared visual language of vintage pulp fiction and Penguin-style book cover design, the pair layer provocative text and imagery over found and reimagined covers, building a body of work now held in collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum.

American Psycho reworks the cover of Bret Easton Ellis's cult novel, replacing the original author credit with Donald J. Trump, set against a red, white and blue ground with a Stars and Stripes motif. It's a smaller-format release within the duo's widely collected Penguin Book series, bringing one of their most recognisable formats to a more accessible price point. The edition is capped at 75 worldwide, and the wider trade allocation to UK galleries has already sold out.
