In 'Odyssey,' world-renowned activist and artist Ai Weiwei adapts the visual language of classical Greek friezes and Egyptian wall paintings to narrate the contemporary global refugee crisis. This 2017 offset lithograph, released in collaboration with the Public Art Fund for the citywide 'Good Fences Make Good Neighbors' exhibition, depicts six heart-breaking themes: War, Ruins, the Journey, Crossing the Sea, Refugee Camps, and Demonstrations.

Measuring 36" x 24" (91.4 x 61 cm), this limited edition of 1000 is a museum-standard addition to any collection in Ascot, Windsor, or London. Its monochromatic, narrative bands offer a sophisticated yet provocative focal point, bridging the gap between ancient art history and today's most pressing human rights issues. At Creed Gallery, we provide this piece with a gallery-issued certificate of authenticity and professional framing options.
