Ben Eine | B - Purple

Ben Eine (b. 1970)
B — Purple
Alphabet Series | Screen print

Ben Eine — the London street artist whose painted shopfront shutters transformed Shoreditch and whose work was given as an official gift from the British government to President Obama in 2010 — has made the letterform his defining subject. His Alphabet Series takes the single letter and renders it with the full visual authority of a painting. B in purple brings the depth and authority of one of the most historically significant pigments to a practice that has elevated basic written communication into something visually extraordinary. Available through Creed Gallery, Ascot, for collectors across Berkshire, Surrey, and London.
