Nebula Whisper takes Ed Sheeran's Cosmic Carpark project into the deep space register — the nebula as a subject of extraordinary visual drama, the interstellar clouds of gas and dust that are the birthplaces of stars, rendered through the specific properties of paint in large-format abstraction of considerable atmospheric depth. The whisper quality gives the title its specific character: something vast made intimate, the cosmic given the quality of a confidence.
