Ghost — Gangster Party
Ghost is a UK-based street artist known for reworking classical and cinematic compositions through a graffiti lens, layering spray-painted tags, drips, and pop-cultural symbols over richly detailed source imagery. His work sits in the same lineage as Banksy and Mr Brainwash in its collision of “high” and “low” culture, but is distinguished by its dense, large-scale compositional ambition.
Gangster Party restages Leonardo’s Last Supper as a roll call of cinema’s most recognisable crime-film characters — figures drawn from Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, The Godfather, Scarface, The Sopranos, and Peaky Blinders gathered around a single table laid with cash, poker chips, and a pizza box. The ornate gilt frame itself becomes part of the work, tagged with graffiti lettering, playing cards, and dollar signs that spill out beyond the painted scene. This example is signed and numbered 22 from an edition of 26.
