Inam — Travelling into Dawn

Inam debuted as a professional artist in 2001 and has built an international following around forests rendered in heavy, textured oil — moonlit birch groves, blossom-pink spring woods, and, as here, the golden corridors of autumn.

This canvas draws the eye down a long, sunlit avenue of trees, their canopies built up in thick strokes of gold, amber and rust catching the light at the centre of the composition.
