Inam was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, where an early talent for drawing was nurtured by a teacher who recognised something worth developing; that grounding carried him through training in London, Istanbul, and Atlanta. Critics have described his approach as “Magical Expressionism.”

Forest in Autumn isolates a single tree at its most theatrical moment, its canopy a dense mass of rust, orange and crimson set against a softly worked silver-grey sky.
