Anthology II extends the series that James McQueen has described as his most personal — inspired by his wife's pile of books beside the bed, the series explores what an individual's reading choices reveal about their interior world. The second edition translates the unique original into a limited silkscreen — preserving the visual language and typographic impact of the original in a format that allows a carefully restricted number of collectors to acquire the work.

McQueen's silkscreen process is among the most technically accomplished in contemporary British printmaking — the layered inks building the worn, patinated surface that is his signature, the typography carrying the same conceptual weight as in the originals. Working under a pseudonym since 2017, McQueen has exhibited at Halcyon Gallery in London and built one of the most active secondary markets in contemporary British art.
