Atlas of Art is Leo Manelli's most ambitious title — the atlas as the comprehensive mapping of a territory, applied to the history of art itself. Where a geographical atlas charts the physical world, Manelli's Atlas of Art charts the history of Western painting through the specific mechanism of his anachronistic method: the masterworks of the tradition placed in unexpected company, the centuries collapsed into a single visual space, the lineage of art made simultaneous rather than sequential.

Trained at the Fine Art Academy in Florence, with an early career in art restoration that gave him an intimacy with the surfaces of old masters available to very few living painters. Available through Creed Gallery, Ascot, for collectors across Berkshire, Surrey, and London.
