Life is Beautiful is Mr. Brainwash's most direct philosophical statement — a phrase that was the title of Roberto Benigni's celebrated 1997 film about maintaining optimism in the face of the worst circumstances imaginable, and which Mr. Brainwash has adopted as something close to a personal manifesto. In blue — a palette of depth, calm, and melancholy transformed into affirmation — the sculpture presents the proposition with a formal authority that the painted versions cannot achieve.

The three-dimensional format takes Mr. Brainwash's visual language into physical space, creating an object that commands a room in a way that a framed print cannot. Signed and from a limited edition.
