Mr Doodle — Untitled (Doodled Panel II)

Sam Cox, working as Mr Doodle, has described his practice as an attempt to leave "no surface untouched" — a compulsion that began with covering his childhood bedroom and has since extended to entire vehicles, shopfronts, and a fully doodled house purchased specifically for the purpose. His line work draws loosely on graffiti, outsider art, and the all-over patterning of artists like Yayoi Kusama, though Cox's vocabulary of eyes, worms, and looping abstract forms is entirely his own.

Like its companion panel, this piece is a cut section of chipboard taken from a larger doodled structure, the surface worked edge to edge in dense, continuous black ink. The two panels were cut from the same larger source and are offered individually, each carrying its own distinct arrangement of Cox's recurring motifs.
