Pippa Smith — Audley Original Mini Tiles: Tomatoes

Pippa Smith is a London-based painter with an MA in History of Art from the University of Edinburgh and a background in art dealing, whose painting flourished during the 2020 lockdown. Her still lifes use bold, playful colour and focus on food and the kitchen table, designed to evoke the Mediterranean.

Tomatoes pairs a large, ribbed tomato seen from above with a smaller one, their deep blue shadows falling across an ornate blue and white tile. This is a signed original.
