Deep (Don't Panic) was originally released in 2011 as part of the legendary Don't Panic poster series — a significant moment in Stik's early career that brought his six-line figures to a wider audience before his gallery practice was fully established. The title captures two things simultaneously: the depth of feeling that his minimal figures consistently achieve despite their apparent simplicity, and the instruction to remain calm in the face of whatever the depth contains. Don't Panic: the most practical of responses to the most profound of situations.
