مجموعة: Sherree Valentine Daines | British Impressionist

Sherree Valentine Daines has been one of the defining figures in British figurative painting for over three decades. Described by the Daily Express as "artist to the stars" and by Art of England as "the finest figurative artist we have here in the UK," she has been officially voted the UK's leading Modern Impressionist — a distinction earned through a body of work that combines technical virtuosity with an instinctive warmth that makes her one of the most consistently collected British painters of her generation.

Her collectors include members of the British Royal Family, former Prime Minister Sir John Major, and Sir Ranulph Fiennes. Among those who have sat for her portraits are Joanna Lumley, Sir Michael Parkinson, Rick Stein, Sebastian Coe, and Jonny Wilkinson. Her work has been exhibited at the Tate Gallery, the Barbican, and Lord's Cricket Ground, and is held in significant private collections worldwide.

In 2019 she was appointed Artist in Residence to Cunard's Three Queens — Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria, and Queen Mary 2 — one of the most prestigious artistic residencies in British public life.

Valentine Daines is the painter of the British summer calendar. Royal Ascot, Henley Regatta, the garden party, the coastal walk, Ladies Day — she captures these occasions with a light-filled impressionist technique that has no direct equivalent in contemporary British art. For collectors in Ascot, Berkshire, Surrey, and London, her work carries a particular resonance: this is painting about a world they inhabit, seen with the eyes of someone who has spent a career learning how to see it properly.

Her output spans original paintings, signed limited editions, hand-embellished canvases, and a celebrated series of bronze sculptures. Available through Creed Gallery, Ascot.
