Warhol's Campbell's Soup Cans (1962) turned a supermarket staple into fine art. Banksy keeps the idea and swaps the label: Tesco Value, the supermarket's budget own-brand, the cheapest can on the British shelf. The change of brand does all the arguing, moving American abundance into a very British kind of thrift.

The motif began with a 2004 painting and was later released as prints. It remains one of Banksy's clearest conversations with Pop Art, and one of his most recognisable images.
