L. S. Lowry (1887–1976) — Deal Beach
Laurence Stephen Lowry R.A. (1887–1976) is best known for his scenes of life in the industrial north of England, with crowds of small, stylised figures set among mills, streets and terraces. His work is held in public collections across the UK.
