Richard “Seen” Mirando began painting New York’s subway cars at the age of eleven, eventually leading the United Artists crew responsible for some of the most recognisable whole-car pieces of the 1970s and 80s, and is widely referred to as the Godfather of Graffiti.

Seen Tag (Pink) takes the artist back to first principles: a single tag, rendered in his own hand in a bold pink colourway, exploded across the canvas in spray paint until the letterform dissolves into pure sweeping motion.
