His formation spans graffiti, graphic design, and fine art — a combination that gives his practice the visual authority of someone who has mastered multiple traditions of mark-making and knows precisely when to deploy each. Trained at the School of Visual Arts in New York, he brings to his large-scale canvases the expressive, pared-back energy of his graffiti origins and the compositional intelligence of his design background, combining them with references drawn from art history and the visual world of high fashion.
